Run the room, from the projector, get scored results the same day
Two hundred people, one screen, nothing to install. The room code goes up on the projector, players type a name and they are in - no account, no app, no signup.
The headcount you see is real: one number, and it means connected right now.
Players need nothing but a browser. No signup, no email, no app store.
Type a name, and you are in the room
A player opens the link, types a name, and enters the code shown on the screen. Nothing else is asked for. Email and mobile are optional, and only ever used to reach the winner.
One room, one code, one screen
A room is one event. It gets its own five character code, its own display names and its own hall screen. Open as many as you like; each keeps its own players and its own headcount.
- A room code that avoids the letters and digits people misread
- Arrival numbers from the server, so two people called Kishan stay two rows
- Names on the hall screen, with a hide toggle for the ones you would rather not show
A code on the screen, so the room is really the room
Joining takes a second step: a code only the people in the hall can see. Someone with the link but not the screen cannot walk in, and no API hands that code out.
- Two step join: the room code, then the code on the screen
- The step code is checked on the server and never returned to a player
- The hall screen holds its own key, so the code cannot be fetched remotely
- A refresh rejoins the same player, so the count never flatters the room
What an organiser gets
A room in seconds
Name the event, set the lobby wait, and the code is ready to put on the screen.
Players join by link
No app, no account, no signup. A browser is the whole requirement.
One honest headcount
One number that means connected now, not a total that flatters the room.
Name plus arrival number
Two people with the same name are still two players, without anyone typing a number.
The name wall
Show the room who is in, and hide any name you would rather keep off the screen.
A code only the room can see
The step code lives on the projector and nowhere else, and the hall screen needs a key to show it.
Questions and scoring Coming soon
Write the questions, run them from the hall screen, and score as the answers land.
